Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate the Opening of Shorthorn’s Tavern and Grill in Terra Alta
Terra Alta, WV — The Preston County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the opening of Shorthorn’s Tavern and Grill, a new locally-owned dining destination located at 402 East State Avenue in Terra Alta. The event will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM, and the public is invited to attend.
Shorthorn’s Tavern and Grill is the latest addition to the Terra Alta dining scene, offering a casual and inviting space where friends, families, and visitors can enjoy quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features an array of crowd-pleasing options, including cream of crab soup, steaks, pizzas, sandwiches and more—with something to satisfy every appetite.
To start, the restaurant will be open:
- Thursday, May 15th & Friday, May 16th : 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday, May 17th & Sunday, May 18th : 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Beginning the week of May 19, Shorthorn’s will expand its hours and be open daily at 11:00 AM.
In addition to a full menu, Shorthorn’s plans to introduce live music and events soon, making it a great new hub for entertainment and social connection in Preston County.
